Not sure if this is gold iris or silberiris. I think goldiris. it depends on the light it's in if it's bright gold or more of a blue silver cast. It's quite large at 10" tall. I found the line drawing in the book but I didn't photograph it.
*Edit after reading the loetz shape book this shape only came in one decor... the title of this thread is now correct.

I think this might actually be either Delphi or Norma - see examples on Alfredo's site here:
https://sites.google.com/site/loetzandglass/loetz-4--from-n-to-w
I wrote Al about that a month or so back, the shape book doesn't have delphi or norma listed as patterns for those shapes.
this is what I wrote:
The loetz shape book that we got in the Czech republic does have these shapes in it. 1910, Delphi and Norma aren't mentioned in the decors for these shapes. it says:
creta goldiris creta silberiris, creta ausf. 90, 24 creta goldiris, 14/3 2 vasen creta silberiris goldig irisiert for max emanual in london. it says some other stuff about the actual shapes too but I am too lazy to type it all out. thought I"d share.
he replied back that he thought maybe Delphi or Norma was referring to another pattern found in the case.
hmm, it looks like some of the pieces with this characteristic gourd appearance only came in one flavour whilst others came in a few. reading the blurb for my particular vase it was made for max emaneul and co London in "Creta Silberiris goldig irisiert"
which I guess, explains how it can be a silvery blue and gold. LOL.
both of the pieces on Al's site have the numerous different flavours available. I think his are goldiris. they look a much purer gold than mine, but it's hard to tell with these iridescent pieces and cameras. Mine can look pretty gold in some light.
Could you please tell which book is that you got in the Czech Republic? (name, author, publishing company, year of edition...) We'd love to get such a complete book!
only 300 were printed and from what I understand they can only be bought directly from a museum. I'll put up the information for you later though.
Thanks, Greatsnowyowl!
