THIS IS MY FAVORITE FIND THIS WEEKEND. IT IS A PORTABLE TABLETOP TRANSISTOR AM RADIO. I PUT NEW BATTERIES IN IT AND IT FIRED UP. THE MAKE IS RALEIGH WHICH I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH. IT HAS THE CIVIL DEFENSE EMBLEMS ON THE DIAL. MADE IN KOREA. NO IDEA AS TO AGE BUT I AM THINKING THE LATE 50'0 EARLY 60'S? ALL IN ALL IN GOOD CONDITION.FOR SOME REASON SOMEONE HAD TAPED A FOIL LABEL THAT READ DRYCO DELUXE SIX TRANSISTOR OVER THE RALEIGH LOGO. NO IDEA AS TO WHY.

Possibly someone wanted to make your Raleigh look like a Dryco, maybe they couldn't find a Dryco for their collection.
