I was told that this is a vintage and authentic TIFFANY & CO. Sterling Silver necklace - the clasp is marked 925 like many of the Tiffany Co. silver products that cleverly display its metal content or designer name. I could not find the Tiffany & Co designer stamp for this though from research on the internet, this necklace appeared similar to Elsa Peretti teadrop link chain necklace or bracelet although each link for the Peretti one is closed on each end in link rather than open and then linked. This necklace choker is ~ 15.5" long.
Please help me identify whether this is a Tiffany & Co item and, if exists, without tag, where would the vintage markings be at and what designer this is; e.g., Peretti or Frank Gentry. Thank you very much for all your help.

I don't believe this necklace is Tiffany. Why would they make something so similar to one of their one Peretti designs?
