I recently aquired this wooden Toy Coca-Cola Truck.. Great condition, seems complete.. does anyone know if it is missing anything.. I found it in the Petretti Book for some pretty big $$$ as far as value..

I never understood the reason for this being a $5,000 toy truck since it looks like grampa made it in the wood shop. Crude looking. Can't really tell if it's all there from one side view photo. But then, I don't know enough about this truck to know if the "tires" are original or if anything has been replaced on this. Neat truck and I would love to have it too, if someone offered it to me. Just wouldn't spend $5k or even $1k on this.

Classic war-time era truck! Can't explain the value either, except that there was not a ton likely made, it's much more time consuming to make this of wood as opposed to stamping them out, and they likey ended up as fire-wood once broken. It's a keeper !
