Another interesting piece. This is a 16-page newsletter produced by the New York Coca-Cola Bottling Company. These regional publications are harder to find than the national employee magazines like the Red Barrel, Bottler and Refresher magazines.
I collect all in-house Coca-Cola bottling plant newsletters and have them from Asheville, NC, Minnesota, Los Angeles and other cites but this is my first one from the Big Apple.

The cover is very interesting considering it pictures a man working, with his arm around what appears to be a young Phillipino worker in 1945.
Or is the kid in fact a Japanese?
You were right the first time.
Cover photo: Our cover this month is Melvin Murton of Abeline Texas, one of our tough Seebees stationed in the Philippines, and his young hero-worshiping friend Manuel Oliviera, each enjoying an ice cold bottle of Coca-Cola.
