With all the media exposure lately i'm sure everyone is familiar with Penn State University. Here are four nice 4-H Club works Merit Award ribbons from the early sixties. The first red one was awarded on 6/8/63 for "sewing apron". The second purple one was awarded in 1961, second red one awarded in '60 for "Dairy", and the last purple was also awarded for "sewing". I actually pulled these out of the dumpster behind the auction house, what a shame, but what a deal too. Someone obviously saved them all these years, estate auctions can be sad when collection are un-appreciated by their kin or the bidders.
