4" long dragon brooch. I wore it to the Chinese moon festival last month. Yes I've learned my lessons over the years - I tape the backs or sew them on to my jean jacket. I lost a few wonderful brooches over the years. This one is pretty great.

Yes - even just a piece of tape wrapped once around the pin helps it stay on the jacket even if it opens. Wish I would've been smart sooner. One night several months ago I lost my vintage Thierry Mugler pin at a bar. I had lots of help looking all over for it and finally gave up. Later I found it in my purse! I guess I must have had too much wine that night.
