Dome shade 11 inches across about 5 inches deep....fitter edge 9 ". A nice cranberry red color with yellow/green swirls and bubbles. Ground bottom edge....not polished. Have owned this for more than 20 years and still have not found the perfect base for it! Having a hard time with pictures for this....will try a few more right after this post. Any ideas on maker?

the base and the shade are gorgeous! unsure of the maker someone will know
TY czechman..
That base / shade combination works well for me! I'm not certain of the shade manufacturer, but it almost certainly isn't Loetz...maybe a Kralik silberband decor variant or Palme Konig. Nice red color!
Rindskopf corrugated decor? The pulled corrugation with what I'll call "swirls"(for lack of a better term) looks like a bowl I have, but in green.

It's not seen in the photos I've taken, but my bowl has the same amber mottling that can be seen on your shade with the light behind it.
ty for the links and info bkirks !!! It looks very similar....perhaps wavey lines not quite as sharp on my shade..
I'd say Kralik oil spot, from the pictures. As to finding the right base, you have done very well with the one you've got.
Thanks Alfredo !
I always appreciate your comments...hope You have a pleasant Sunday...
I think the difference in the definition of the waves could be the size difference. My bowl is about 3 inches smaller in diameter than your shade. It would lose some of the definition as the size increases due to the blowing process. I should also note that I've based my observations on your second set of photos more than on this one.
And I agree with the others, I love the base/shade combo. Wouldn't change it! :)
