I knew that Lustre Art was a "child" of Quezal, so when I saw these almost matching Quezal shades (to my Lustre Art shades - see earlier posting) I had to have them for a "side by side" lineup. I am very happy with my new Quezal shades - they are even better than the LA; deeper iridescence and coloration, just slightly better all around. The comparison is striking, and educational. The family resembelance is very strong; the patterns are not identical but the technique definately is. The shapes are not identical, but they look like family members for sure. Now I also have some close replacements (all mint!). I just need one more matching Quezal and I'll have two sets of three. Anyone got a spare? :-)

Did you know that Conrad V. ( Lustre Art ) caused such a family feud that Bach ( Quezal ) would not speak to his daughter ( wife of Conrad V. )

No; that's very interesting. Seems there was lots of trouble in the glass world back then, and in America a good portion of it centered around Bach and Tiffany. That is a nice tidbit to add to the file; thanks LoetzBuddies.
