found this and just love this smokey grey decanter bottle , this is vintage made in germany:) i love the design of beautiful decanter . This is called La Reine decanter . dates from 1956-1958

Never seen this maker before but I really like it. You can see someone sitting in their 50s/60s living room, being cool and pouring brandy into big balloon glasses.
Süssmuth was one of tghe big glass artists in pre- and post-war Germany, and he was quite succesful exporting in the States. It's a pity he's quite unknown...
