    I do remember my Dad telling me he was almost die in Korean, he was flew for the artillery soldiers and flew too close to North Korean.

    Sure looks like a Cessna 195. They are a bear on the ground.

    Thanks for posting, I agree with blunderbuss2, with that cowl it's got to be a Cessna 195 a lovely aircraft. I wonder if Lt. Colonel Hawkins was their tutor.
