    Can anyone tell me about this item. I found it in a dresser. It works great and has a date on it of June 1, 1875. Is it an old toy?

      Here is one that sold
      It appears to be a toy to me ,the person could hold the bottle and make it the little Imp doll like figure inside jump if hands were warmer than blood . No scientific reason other than a chemistry test .
      But apparently are collectible !

      Oh You do not put blood in it . It is blood in hands making them warm :-)
