I found this bowl at a thrift store about 7 years ago. It has many hair line cracks, but fell in love with it anyway. It's stamped Goodwin Brothers, but am unsure of its history. Thanks to mustangtony, I just found out it was made by John Goodwin. 1844-53 East Liverpool Ohio:) thanks Tony for your help.
