I recently got this bill and it stood out immediately as rare (it's the first one I've ever seen). It's a $10 Silver certificate with a yellow treasury seal on it. A little research shows it was issued to WWII soldiers in North Africa.

I don't know about the quality of the bill or the actual value of it though. Any ideas? Would this count as poor or just 'regular circulated condition'?

WOW that's interesting. Be looking forward to finding out what you find out. I love looking at all the 'new' stuff that pops up.

I would say regular circulation. Poor feels thinner or is even ripped or faded.

Well, from looking around I've seen quotes for this at around $50-$80 to a collector (depending on the quality). If it was in pristine quality it might go close to $150.

I was also looking up some of the qualifiers for the "grade" (poor, fine, etc) and from the descriptions I read, this might qualify for "fine" quality. The two prominent creases might hurt the value though. I don't normally deal in this stuff so I'm not sure how much is too much wear.

There's a couple of small holes above the word "The" at the top of the bill, but other than a little dirt and a few creases that's the worst of it. It's in pretty good shape considering the age at least.
