Theodorus Niemeyer 150 year (1819-1969) Commemorative Tobacco Scoop / Spoon.
This piece was given to my grandfather in 1969, as he was a prominent Cigar, Pipe and Tobacco dealer in New York City.
It’s such an interesting and unique piece! I love it!
I’m assuming it was a tobacco scoop, perhaps used in the tobacco jars in the stores, but I’m not sure. I’ve searched the web but haven’t found anything like it.
