A motometer that now tops the largest size I have had before, this one sports a speed nymph type bathing girl at top. Purchased recently from a Bonhams auction in Philadelphia, and on this one I just left an online bid and was lucky enough to get it. Very nice example somewhat more clean than the photos show. I love this beautiful piece, and the motometer is huge !~ Around 1920's.
She is marked (C) LVA, the mark of the Louis V. Aronson (later Ronson!) metal casting company of Newark, NJ. who sold these add on nymphs to the motometers.
Usually in my books and catalogs I have seen the add on speed nymphs but not the one with the moldings for the bathing suit which has its own perameters, not just as what one might think at first is just cobalt blue and yellow paint, but has the moldings also for the bathing suit !~

Amazing ... even more design creativity.
Beautiful, how many in the collection now?
Not counting, and I have a lot more that I have not even posted. But the good news is I am getting more picky, the older the better, and I prefer the English and French mascots which were some of the best. Getting out of some of the American 50's style, although a few of them could not get rid of.
Picky is always good, And you have some of the best looking pieces I've ever seen. This and the others are super. Looking forward to seeing more. Kerry
Phil, have you seen this yet?

Thanks Kerry, I was just looking at my book catalog on Ronson, which has basically what this 1935 poster has also. The Ronson Co. took it over from Aronson who was marketing these in 1920's. I appreciate the link, thanks, Phil.
Thank you everyone for the love, Rob, Sean, Rocker-sd and Kerry for the comments.
That is beautiful, unusual, cool, the bathing suit, the woman, items like this can keep you mentally healthy!, I could not be depressed looking at beauty like this everyday!
Thanks toracat, and I agree wholly with you, actually is much more interesting piece in person that what the picture shows, but I think you got that !~
Thank you neilvbcollectibles for the love !~
