Another bill of my grandfather's. Don't know the history of where he got it. I know 1917 was the year his parents were married, so that's a pretty interesting pairing. I hate it has tape on it, but it wasn't a clean rip, it's only partial.

I'm confused though, because some of the same year have different secretary of the treasury than this one.. Don't know how that happens
nsvmom...You're holding out on me. Why haven't you shown me this before? haha. I'll Check it out next visit. As far as a different S.O.T., sometimes they would be reassigned, sometimes die. Frank White was Treasurer from 1921-1928. This is a series 1917, which means they didn't change the bill design at the next printing. I have a $5.00 bill Series 1907 with the same signatures as yours. In 1923 they changed the design. Love you! Jimbo(Dad)
