The day of Hurricane Sandy
the wind is getting fierce, the sea is lapping the foundation of a house down the street
my thoughts and prayers go out to the people of New Jersey, ( who are getting a direct hit ), and the people of all other affected areas.

I've had this vase for many years.
I debated about it when I first saw it
( didn't want to be tricked by a Pier 1 piece )
after some deliberation I decided it was too interesting to pass up.
it has a beautifully ground foot and top edge
nice rippled ribs,.....but it's unsigned, and I haven't seen another to compare it to.
does it look familiar to any of the educated eyes on CW?
Thanks for any help,
Tony

Hello Bellin!
Thanks for your thoughts,.....we were lucky here,
there's damage, but nothing compared to what happened in NJ & NY
God bless those people!
Nice to know there's a Bellin in MA, keeping us safe:)
Dear Mikko,
Thanks for the love, and for the kind thoughts.
happily all is well.
Budek, so happy you weathered the storm! My Mom had two trees fall on the house and no power. She is doing just fine, always a scrapper. Hope everyone out there keeps safe!
Thanks Amber Rose, I'm happy to hear that your Mom is well
& Thanks Inky and Justanovice, I appreciate the loves

looking out on a blustery day
all's well.
and with you?
