I was told this is an old horse hair blanket. It is from an old farm in South Dakota. It hung on the wooden rail of the upstairs balcony in an old house that is long gone. I am having a bit of a hard time reading the name that is in the picture. It is a very large blanket. Can anyone tell me the history of an item like this.

It looks like "LeBurgham Edemade" to me, though that gave me no results on Google. There is one on worthpoint that supposedly has "Ede Made" stitched into it! Good luck.

looks like the first name may be the craftsperson who sewed it and "Edemade" was the brand. :)
Thanks, I appreciate the help and the second pair of eyes.
