I'm not sure of what this is made of possible Jade thick gold paint trimming pictures are showing the same as I received it some kind of substance some of it flakes of but have not attempted to wash it there are no markings other than 2 different designs around the neck with elephant heads on either side I can not tell you an age but would love to find someone that could tell me everything I need to know about this it appears to look older to me but looks can be decieving

Hi, the motif is Chinese, based on the trim and ornamentation, but without marks, can't say if it was made in China. It's not jade, from the pictures it could be porcelain or glass, guessing glass. Perhaps gold leaf decoration applied unprofesionally after manufacture. I'm not much help here, maybe someone who has seen a similar piece can comment. Good luck, Jim
This does not look or feel like glass I am trying to find someone nearby me that could tell me more about it As soon as I find out more I will updating
I decided to try something and the results stunned me even more I took my Diamond tester to it and tried to see what the reading would be and it just creamed at me I am trying to find someone that can tell me more about this.
