7 3/8 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches across. Not signed. Approximately 1902 for the production date. I could not locate the exact form in the musterschnitte, but that is the year when most of these were made. The ground color is called "Neurot", which means New Red, although it is more of a pink. The colors in the photographs are accurate (at least on my own monitor). I have wanted a Cytisus vase for a very long time, but they were always out of reach, as I try to stay within my retired firefighter's meager budget. But when this one was offered to me, it was at a price that I could not pass up. So now I have a new showpiece for my display, thanks to a good friend and fellow art glass enthusiast.

David : and his / her name is ???
I'm not sure they would want me to say, so I won't mention it here.
It looks pink on my monitor too; but this "neurot" is terrific. I would imagine this base color is rare for Cytisus? It goes great with the "dunkelblau" (dark blue).
It's a stunner!! I am so glad it arrived and safely! Congrats!
Thanks everyone, I love it too.
One of my dream decors. Truly amazing.
Man, you are finding some great pieces!
Mac, I have been getting lucky, the glass has been finding ME. Usually I had to spend hours looking through listings, but I had a couple of people that know me write to say they had something I wanted. I make sure I let people know the decors I'm looking for, it helps to have more eyes doing the looking. The Melusin was one I managed to check off the list. The Cytisus was a surprise that I didn't expect to get. My list is much shorter, but harder pieces to find.
