Got my buddy, Alf, at a thrift store here in Waynesville for $1. Granted he's not antique, per se, but I watched him as a kid. His fur seems a little matted, does anyone know a way to try to get it back to normal? Can I brush him or will that pull the fur out?

You might try a plastic tipped cushion "Doggie" brush. those ones with an egged shape head with a wide displacement on the brissles. try it on a small area like the back of his leg and it might work. Kerry
Thanks kerry. It's almost as though he may have been washed and dried, so it may work...may not. We'll see!
