This has had all our friends guessing! Its nickel plated over brass, looks like a pacifier but clearly isn't! The intreguing detail is the threaded socket on the neck, which is angled, the O ring is swivvel mounted. It had passed through the hands of several local traders who all gave up on its possible history! Any ideas?
With the hole in it, my thoughts turn to drawer pull or something similar.. Like a screw was supposed to fit in there..
It appears to be some kind of tompion except for the threaded hole. I'm waiting for some armchair to identify it.

The threaded canted hole is what is confusing or I would say it had a rubber or cork around the bulb for a bottle seal. I think some sadistic "B" that had that before you, drilled & taped that hole just to "F" with future "C's" like us to waste time trying to figure out. ("C" is for clowns)
