I found this old fly reel recently I was wondering if anyone knew the maker or model. It's about 3 in wide and 3.5 tall stamped Made In USA on butt of heel. Looks like a Hendryx.

Hey there, I found this as I was searching for any info on a reel I found in an antique shop in VA. Prior to this post I found this other site http://fishinghistory.blogspot.com/2008/11/langs-week-part-3.html
that had a photo of a reel that looks like the one I found and like your. I just wanted to share the picture with you because in hours of searching I have only found two pictures that looked like mine. (your pic and the one I'm sharing). Good luck in your search for more info.
