Have no idea when it was made but want to share a secret to keep fans working forever with you & others. Do not use light machine oils like sewing machine oil as it collects dust etc. & bogs down a fan. Marvel Mystery Oil is the answer. If you can't find that, believe it or not, Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion. I live in the tropics & we learn.

Will do bb2, under one condition. That I buy the first round, I'm in the mood for single malt Scotch! =)

You're already 3 rounds late! That's alright, I'll wait. I'll give you 3 more days to get here. Then I'm going home, or to another pub.

I just told my driver to "Pinch it off, we gotta go!" LoL
I'll pick up the tab when I get there!
    12. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
By the time you get here, you might have to mortgage you house to pay your tab!

My best guess is that it's a '40-'41 Polar Cub. The cage doesn't look exactly like every other Polar Cub I've seen, but Gilbert made them in that time frame and the rest of the fan gives me that impression.
