I need some help with this fly fishing rod! I have researched the Cross Rod & Tackle Co & have found info about the maker but I have yet to find any info on The Cross Rod????? I am trying to figure out if this is a valuable item & if so how valuable? Also for a collector what would you be looking for condition wise? Thanks in advance.

Cross Rod Company operated in Lynn, Mass from 1919 til 1925, then moved to South Bend, IN as part of the South Bend Bait Company. Cross rods were good quality and are now desired by both collectors and fishermen. Average selling prices run $200-300.
Collectors want the rods as complete as possible (all sections included, all sections equal length, original bag and tube), and with no splits or repairs. Collectors will pay a premium for shorter models, i.e. rods until 8' in length.
