I have had these horse pictures for about thirty years and I would love to know more about them. Does anyone know the title of them and who drew them? they were framed by The Art Shop in East Aurora New York. I can not read the signature. I sure hope someone might know who it is.

It's late and my eyes are a bit blurry.. but in the second signature photo, the first letter looks Middle Eastern, perhaps Arabic to me. Perhaps someone else can tell more about it. If it is, that might give you a little something to go on. And I agree they are lovely. :-)

After thinking about the signature in the last photo, I got to thinking more about these. It's possible that these are Arabian horses, or maybe Thoroughbreds. The Byerley Turk, the Godolphin Arabian and the Darley Arabian were the earliest of three stallions that were the founders of the modern Thoroughbred horse racing bloodstock. So, perhaps you could research either thoroughbred art or arabian horse art for similar signatures? Just a thought.. and I do wish you the best of luck! :-)

any luck on your research -- i am leaning with chinablue -- this horse is thoroughbred in my opinion -- no tea cup ears, too long of ears and face is very slender and not dished as characteristic of the arabs -- bridle also is not of what the early boudin tribes would have used on their arabs
beautiful horse and drawings -- this horse got his looks from the arab side -- and yes i would bet the farm that the horse is either gelding or stud based on jawline
if the horse is thoroughbred -- i would also guess his lines are out of polish stock and not egyptian -- most of the polish stock were bays the egyptian lines were mostly the grays -- always exceptions however
have a pic that has been bugging me for years too -- think i will give it go on this site and see if anyone recognizes my pencil artist drawing -- thanks for inspiring me
Hello Epson, Thank you for your comments I am still working on it. Someone told me that they also thought maybe the horse might be thoroughbred. I will post if I can find any useful info. Thanks again to everyone for your help.
