It says Lane and company on the bottom. It belonged to my Grandmother and dates to, I believe, the 1950's. I can't seem to find any others like it on the internet. It has the opening for a light insert, but no insert. Any information on this??

Lane & Co were in production during the 50's and 60's in Van Nuys, CA. I have seen a lot of them, but this is the first Zebra I have seen. Might be rare. They produce some as lamps and others as planters or candy dishes. If yours has so electrical equipment, it may be a dish. Nice piece.
Sweet! Zebra is new to me too. There is only one thing better than a lovely old piece and that is a a lovely old piece that came to you through your family. :O) Enjoy!
Sincerely,
Lisa
