Okay all you sleuths , I have a mystery. I have several watches with this "M" over "W" Logo on the dial. I have this one which supports a model L Ingraham movement, dated 1954. Also have one that has a square dial that supports an Ingersoll (US Time) movement , circa 1946-50. Then I also have two size 16 pocket watches, both are Ingraham dated 1954 and 1952. Basically the same watch with different Bows.
My first guess would be a Private Label pieces for Montgomery Ward Dept. Stores, but my search has led me nowhere. I am hoping someone has some info on these.
UPDATE: thank you mustangtony for solving this, These are The Montgomery Ward's Logo
