my search continues for info on my 'glyco-heroin medicine bottle' can n e one help?
What does the bottom of the bottle say? Can't read it. What is the impression above the label? Can you take a better (clearer) pic of the label?
It was Cough syrup. I found an old advert on Pinterest. Google: Martin M. Smith Glyco Heroin.
Someone is selling advertising trade cards on ebay - one for Smiths:
Glyco-Heroin (Smith) for Coughs, Phthisis, Bronchitis, Pertussis, Laryngitis, Pneumonia, Asthma (sold when Heroin was legal to prescribe): Martin M. Smith Co., Proprietors, New York
Google is your friend!
Oops - Martin H. Smith! Here is a 1900 medical book on Google - page 381.

Several bottles have sold - but NONE with the label on it. Just Google the name - plenty of information.
