Looks like a gorgeous cheese knife in a splendid Deco pattern, with stepped geometrical motif! Pattern called "Rhythm". Designed by William S. Warren, this pattern was produced from 1929-1965. You can see it on my favorite website for researching American sterling flatware, Sterling Flatware Fashions - link below. As for its being a cheese knife - most probably if it's approximately 6 and 1/2 inches to about 7 and 1/2 inches. Question is, when did Wallace first use stainless steel as the blade in this knife? Suspect that you'd have to send an email to Wallace to find the answer without extensive research. Beautiful! So glad that you have this. You need to have a party now. : )
