Sorry for the delayed response. I just saw your post. To be honest, I have very little info on these ring boxes as they are not marked by the manufacturer. But if I ever find out, I promise to share it in here. What I do know is that your box is in beautiful condition and I love the contrast on the interior between the ivory satin and the black velvet. I think it's so sweet that your sister bought this for you. Please keep in touch. All the best, CJ
Thank you! I love your collection and enjoy your postings. Happy Holidays!
Hi valentino97. I told you that if I ever found info on these book ring boxes, I would share it with you, and I have some new info. I was wrong about these boxes not being marked, because they are but it is inside under the silk lining. All of my boxes are lined and the lining is glued to the box so I never saw it. They are marked J.C. Warner Co. Buffalo N.Y. and pat. appl'd for. I found a pic online of an exposed box and I will post it in my Show & Tell listings. Happy Holidays! -CJ
Thanks for telling me. Makes perfect sense they would mark them out of sight.
Thank you Lee - your ring boxes are amazing and look forward to seeing them all!
Val, thank you for being such a great supporter of my pieces...BTW what kind of ring is that in the case?
You have amazing items it is so easy to be a supporter. About this ring - I know it's sterling and the setting looks nouveau or Edwardian. Do you think this could be a moonstone? The ring is tiny - size 5 but the stone is probably 5/16" square - nice size. I'll try to take a better picture of it. The setting is interesting - carved out on all sides.
Thank you Amber for your love!
Hi Valentino, hope you are doing well!
Hi Amber - yes I'm fine. Still trying to get together a picture of my mosaic kidney table I am sure you will appreciate. (I have to take all the junk off of it???) Okay no excuse. I'll do this tonight. Thanks for your love as always!
Val, I love that ring!!!
Thank you Lee - I'll try to take a better picture and post it tonight. The stone isn't clear - looks like it got wet and changed underneath but the setting is really nice so I'll post it for your comments. Thank you as always! I love chatting and sharing on CW!
Val, if you ever want to part with it :))))
