Just found these the other day in my girlfriends grandmothers basement. I'm not sure what the tags are because i havent seen anything like them. Just wondering what they mean and if theyre rare. one bottle has tags that say SAE 10w and the initials S.B on the other tag. The other bottle says HD SAE 10W-30 and the initials L.M. on the other tag. Thanks in advance for any help!

HELLO-YOU GOT IT PERFECT IN YOUR OWN DISCRIPTION!! AND YES" the tags will add to the value! i never saw tags on a oil glass bottle before--so thats a good thing! as far as price-i dont know but i can tell you this much i saw 2 oil bottles with the case-and it went for $100"bucks or more on ebay!! and the case is nothing to talk about-so i would say you have 2 very nice bottles there!! great find!! good luck with them!!cody
the SAE stands for society of automotive engineers and the numbers are the viscosity of the oil. looks like you have one that had 10 wieght and the other was 10-30 high detergent. i dont know about the initals.
What a find they look complete that is rare. Try the american picker guy (with the beard)he collects these??There out of Iowa, and on the History Channel ,if you have cable.Or try ebay or craig list if trying to sell them??
