Green's my favorite color. In 2008 someone from the white house sent me some stimulous money (was it $300?) so I stimulated many junk and antique stores in Burlington, Iowa during a business trip. This was in perfect unused shape - maybe she didn't like green. My favorites are the comb and the mirror. The perfume bottle has never held perfume. I use the lidded boxes for loose jewelry on my dresser. I DIDN'T pay $300 for it - I think it was around $98. I've found some cool reasonably priced vanity items on ebay - but sets like this are mostly found displayed beautifully in stores. I think mine is considered a "cheap set". On the other hand....when a set is complete the value is much more. It doesn't matter - I love it - that's what counts.
