Hello,
Purchased this at an Estate Auction.
Looking for info. on this particular pattern and design.
From what i have already found is that it is Gorham,Josephine pattern from looking at the design of the handle. It measures 3.5" x 9" and weighs 95 grams. It is marked patent 1855 coin on back of handle.
I have found a couple of other spoons that the leaf pattern is simialar but the handle pattern is different.I have not been able to find this spoon exactly, and i have looked at least a couple of thousand spoons and spent many hours researching.Beginning to wonder if this one is a one of a kind that still exist.Any links or info. would be great on the exact identification of this Spoon.
Thanks,
