More of my great finds this week.
I assume the sugar bowl is Marigold...but I can't seem to find this pattern anywhere, and I have looked so much they are all a gold blur.
So these blue candle sticks are opalescent. (iridescent?) I picked them up, then put them down five or six times trying to decide what they were. I am guessing that they are new, but just don't know. They pop, so I picked them up. Guesses anyone?
Daughter was giving me a hard time when I was taking photos...thought it was cute!

the candlesticks look to be stretch glass Northwood #657
Really? Old? I was thinking Pottery Barn...
Always grateful for direction TallCakes!
yep. pretty old; prolly close to official antique. Here's an online ref. (look about halfway down the page).
I saw that and am still chuckling at myself. I kept trying to put these back but my gut wouldn't let me. The color is fantastic!
love that sapphire blue too! very nice!
Love the candlesticks!
They are fantastic...now where to put them...
Thanks Tony!
took another look at the sugar and the only attribution I see is Fenton; the pattern is called Apple Panels by Doty and others. It's only been documented in a breakfast set with a cream and sugar.
TallCakes...you are a treasure, thank you. You always help me and I appreciate it. Have a good evening!
Hey Sean...just back from yoga. All good. Now that you are all corporate we don't talk as much...
