I purchased this medal at an auction and was told it was a WWI Defense Medal. When I received the item I started doing a lot of research and could not find the medal in any chart of military medals or anywhere on google. I was hoping that someone out there may be able to help me figure out what this medal is. Here is the Description:
The piece on the ribbon says "Chairman Floor Committee" The medal itself says "Defendam 22 Non Coms 1914 Association". The very top of the brass on the medal is an Eagle. An American Flag on the left and a blue flag with two people on it. Underneath both flags is a castle.
Maybe Non-Commission Officers Association medal for there 1914 convention.
I did their website and looked through all their medals and didn't see one. Maybe ill send them a pic and see if they know. Thanks!
