I've always wanted to go to an estate sale, so one day, I saw a sign, and I went. They had an entire vanity tray full of beautiful perfume bottles. I had never seen anything like them in all my antique shopping experiences. The mirror and brush were on the nightstand of this bedroom and I couldn't leave them there. I know these things are definitely old, but I can't find ANY marks on the brush and mirror.
The perfume bottle had an acid mark that is barely visable on the bottom of the glass "MADE IN CZECHOLSOLVAKIA". The bottle is very heavy in weight and I believe that the top may be from another bottle. The brush and mirror are very heavy in weight as well, and have absolutley no damage other than age. The woman running the sale mentioned to me that they could be over 100 years old.
I'll keep searching for similar items to find more about my find. I think I did pretty good!!
