Greatsnowy…

I have gotten a couple more aventurine pieces recently. One is just a very handsome straight up art nouveau piece. (1st photo) Probably Harrach. the second one isn't anywhere near as neat at first glance as the straight up art nouveau example, but on close examination it's actually much more unusual than almost all of my other pieces. It cannot be seen thru when held to strong light. it's totally opaque. you can see Green in it. It is a chrome aventurine but I think it's on a hyalith base instead of the clear base these are usually in or it's triple layered or something. It looks like black glass next to the green pieces. Most of the chrome aventurine isn't that dense by a long shot. Some of it is even quite easy to see thru.

Love the whiplash curves on the gold enameled piece!
There is a green stone named adventurine as we'll. I always thought the name was very Indianna Jones. Love these!
