This was found is a grandmother's possessions. Is there a name for this piece of jewelry? Looks like it might be worn on the wrist to hold a key or something to prevent accidental loss. Or maybe to hold a fan or pince-nez? But would like a definitive answer.
Thanks in advance!

I could see a head housekeeper or butler keeping a liquor cabinet key on something like this and keeping it in a pocket.... but when in use, keeping on the wrist so there would be no chance of misplacing it. ??????
