This was a lucky find in an antique centre (mall ) in Sydney on the weekend .It is my birthday present to myself .
12 1/2 " tall it is made from light yellow glass that is internally ribbed that has been "over shot " that is rolled in fine gritty glass ( sand?) and then blown . this leaves the striped effect. . It also has a highly iridescent green glass swag ( ribbon) appied to one side .
I could not capture the amazingly metalic or electric iridescence in my photos.
