This trench art lamp stands well over 2 feet tall and weighs over 25 pounds.

It is assembled from WW1 shells and bullets but was made post- WW1.

A lot of effort went into this one and it is full of Patriotic motifs-- Eagles (both engraved and cast brass flag toppers) and Stars (cut sheet metal). Additionally, there are 20 cut brass rifles to further decorate the lamp.

Reproduction of these images in any form is not authorized.

O my this is a big one. Very interesting. Where did you find it? Meaning part of the country...

It came from a seller out of California (several years ago)-- set me back about $35 to ship it.

The seller shipped in two boxes causing me to worry that only one would arrive!

Interesting! I always wonder if there is a pattern to where a majority of WWI items are found.
      Always enjoy your posts!
      Hope you are doing well

Thanks again amber. Sometimes the origin of items will assist in determining facts about the original owner or lead you down an erroneous path.

I cannot count the number of times I have seen a Civil War Union soldier identified as Confederate because it was bought in the deep South.

In our mobile/ moving society, I am skeptical of using location to determine other facts on objects WITHOUT other supporting data or documentation.
