Hi.. I have this gold wash over sterling clearly marked vintage(probably 1958-1978) MI Armaos marked bowl. I noticed that Armaos these days does not have the same value as these old pieces. They don't seem to have their own designs are appear to be resellers that stamp their name. This bowl is of the Vintage end.
It is 9 inches wide from rim to rim and 4 inches height standing. 460 grams in weight. Gold wash also of course.
My curiousity is this. I own this piece but not sure if the Vintage quality Armaos retains value. What would the value of this piece?
Next, I have the opportunity to purchase another MI Armaos. A large tray with gold wash that is Vintage and very nicely done. Price is way over scrap which leads me to my issue of buying it :).
Please provide any historical prices you can. I have searched online with little luck. There just doesn't seem to have the buyers for Greek quality pieces and obviously, I don't wish to loose money :).
Sincerely, and thanks in advance to anyone!
Steve
p.s. I have included 1 picture of the tray by Armaos that I am considering purchasing.. I do love it.. but it has to have collector value !
