this doesn't have a bend in the neck so not sure if It is still a gooseneck water sprinkler? It's got fantastic iridescence. the color is wonderful. More wonderful than my late November indoor pics communicate. This piece was pretty dirty when I got it. I thought it had some scratching on the side but it turns out that came up. Now to go hunting for the shape in the shape book! :)
Found the shape, I was looking in the new loetz shape book. It looks like this piece predates 1900 if the 12.11.98 is the date they started making this shape. that book only goes from 1900-1915

I am a little obsessive compulsive. I spend hours (8 to ten hours) nearly daily if not daily researching things. I have not been doing this anywhere near as long as many of the good folks here. I am just a very fast (and dedicated) student. I still have rather a lot to learn. I've been doing antiques in general since I was a teenager. I focused on pottery mostly and a just a little on glass early on. It's only the last 7 or 8 years I've been on an in depth study of glass. My collection has also been amassed in that time frame.
I just wanted to say thank you again for all your help with the Bohemian vase. You gave me some great insight on the market of the time era. I am forever in your debt., If I may help you someday in any and I mean ANY way, please do not hesitate to ask. You are a scholar Greatsnowyowl! It was great talking with you last night, enjoyed it very much!
