Greatsnowy…

I got this vase from France a couple years ago. It is a heavy agate glass. polished pontil. Lots of wear. The fish has a dark area of glass in the shape of the fish that is supported with gilding. there is gilding all over the rest of the vase to suggest water.
This vase has me stumped. I've been looking for something similar for the past few years and have never seen another like it.
Anyone out there know it?

GSO did you pick up my last comment to you on my Monart vase? It was to let you know if I come across another Monart I will could send it to you! My e-mail is in my profile so you can send me yours!
thanks Justanovice but that's ok. :) the thought is wonderful but, you should keep your sparklies!
very cool and unusual whatever it is...
The fish reminds me of the style of Regenhuette (Schliersee) - it is also slightly reminiscent of the ACB signed Goldberg piece I got last year.
