This beautiful vase has tear drops going around it. It has been in my family for a long time. Does anyone know anything about it.

    Made by Kralik in czechoslovakia early 1900's decor is called tadpole.. beautiful vase!

    Yes, Loetz Vesuvian, on Creta ground with a light Silberiris finish. These are usually found in Creta Glatt, with much less iridescence.

    That's okay Gary, what I know about these and art glass in general wouldn't fill a thimble. If that the only fubar you've made, it 100x better than one of my best days. lol.

    veusvian came in all shapes and sizes. it's too bad you can't post pics in the thread. the PMC has all kinds of examples from what look like miniatures to pieces that are quite large and all in between.

    Hi The vase is 5 inches tall and about 6 1/2 inches wide. The mouth is 3 inches.

    What is PMC?
