This piece is signed 'ALICE CAVINESS' in a cartouche at the back. It has a safety clasp and a bale. Since it is so huge, I prefer to wear it as a pendant on a rolo chain. During research, I found out that this was made by DeLizza & Elster from Juliana jewelry fame. It truly is an amazing ankh; it is about 5 inches long and fully-adorned with rhinestones that are prong-set; open-back peridot, rose and amethyst with mosaic cabochons. I saw this ankh in a big lot of vintage costume jewelry and it really stood out from the rest. It is one of the more substantial piece in my personal collection and I'm very proud of it. The amount of sparkle to this is INSANE!
