This vase has a textured "oil spot" surface. So I think it is Cisele.
I also bought it for the wonderful full length twisted handles. It is a miracle that they have survived without cracks or nicks.
Polished pontil. 12 inches high.
THANKS to Greatsnowyowl for the identification as Ausf. 56.

The one on the Loetz site is mine, actually.

The ends of the handles make me think Cisele or Siberiris. I thought the Glatt was a bronze-brown color with low iridescence?

In any case this is a really good one. Love it!

Ausführung 44 has fine threading wrapped around the rim. Check out Ausf. 9 instead. Pretty much the same, minus the threading.

Greatsnowyowl : what is the title of the book where it is found ?
  16. Greatsnowyowl Greatsnowyowl, 6 months ago
it's one of those impossible to get things. I got mine at a museum in the Czech repub. you can only get them in a couple little museums there. Brian has the info on it on his blog.
