      It is amazing how well struck this side is but when matched with the reverse it looks good. If the weight checks out that would be proof positive.

      Thank you. Its a really beautiful coin. I was looking over my dads collection and saw this one dated what it is and I was astonished. I didnt think anything this old still existed.

      Age is not that much of a factor, just think about how many ancient Greek and Roman coins are still around.

      Don't get excited. I've got Roman & celtic coins that now find are only worth a few dollars each & the go back to 0 BC/AD. Metal detectors & the economy have destroyed the collectors market.

      The worst thing to happen to the ancient coins market is the uncertainty caused by many countries and the UN banning the export of these coins and confiscating the coins from private collections claiming that the coins are stolen national treasures.
