This bottle was dug in a late 1870's to an early 1880's dump in Savannah. It is the only one I have come across. Hard to find glass embossed wine bottles. Most wine bottles have paper labels on them. Or they will have a glass seal on them. This blob top is not quite like most wine bottle tops. Most of them will have a string of glass around the top and be sheered off at the top. Last photo of a large spider from my back yard. I sure am glad this type of spider does not come into the house.
